We keep your name, purchase and contact details for 6 years in line with Consumer Contract Regulations. We will then dispose your information by securely deleting it from the records. The date of the last transaction will count as the first day of maintaining that personal data.
Purchases of second hand equipment by Phones From Home
Should your device be purchased by Phones From Home, it is expected that the seller would complete a factory reset before completing the transaction with the business. All handsets are checked comprehensively to be cleared of personal details within reason prior to being resold.

We have a minimum 30 day faulty item return policy, which means you have a minimum of 30 days after receiving your item to request a return if the item becomes faulty due to a manufacturing fault. See individual items for exact warranty time as some devices have up to one year warranty.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging (if provided) You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at sales@phonesfromhome.co.uk. If your request is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your return to. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your product upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, not as described or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right promptly.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns if a product has been damaged by yourselves or a change of mind.
We pride ourselves in keeping our customers happy so if an item is returned to us due to a fault we will try and fix the problem before issuing a refund. This will work as follows
- Repair the fault.
- If a repair cannot be carried out, a like for like replacement will be issued.
- If none of the above can be completed then a full refund will be given.
- deposits paid are none refundable
Exchanges
Please see above for exchanges. An exchange will only be agreed if you receive an item that is damaged, not as described or faulty and cannot be repaired.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the return was approved or not. You will be automatically be refunded on your original payment method if the 2 steps above cannot be completed. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
